Forza Horizon 5 Officially Announced, Released This November
Microsoft and Playground Games officially announced Forza Horizon 5 after weeks of rumors. The game will take visuals to a new level. Through the short trailer shown, the game looks almost photorealistic, especially when you're not busy racing at high speed.
This stunning visual quality comes from photogrammetry technology, making each texture look incredibly detailed and realistic. The use of ray-tracing is also done to give a dynamic light effect on each surface that can reflect light.
Forza Horizon 5 will be set in Mexico with a vast open-world full of the country's unique landscapes and culture.
The game will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10 PC on November 9, 2021. The game will be included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription catalog from day one.
