Fortnite Can Still Be Downloaded on Galaxy Store

During Epic Games' feud with Google and Apple, Fornite was kicked out of the Play Store as well as the App Store. But that doesn't happen at the Galaxy Store.

The Galaxy Store, which is Samsung's own app store, appears to have no dispute with Epic Games regarding the payment system. That means the Fornite battle royale game is still available on the Galaxy Store, as reported by GSM Arena, Saturday (15/8/2020).

Fortnite Can Still Be downloaded on Galaxy Store

Thus, current Samsung Galaxy cell phone owners can freely download the Fortnite application on the Galaxy Store for free.

Meanwhile, gamers who want to download Fortnite apart from the Galaxy Store, especially the Play Store and App Store, which are currently missing the game in the app store, can outsmart it by visiting the Epic Games website.

Previously reported, Epic Games vs Google and Apple started when Epic Games tried to implement its own payment system for Fornite users. This payment method promises a 20% payment discount for gamers, while helping Epic Games to avoid the 30% commission taken by Apple and Google.

What Epic Games has done made the two technology giants react and implement policies by removing the game from the Play Store and App Store.

For example, if gamers want 1,000 V-bucks to be used to purchase content on Fortnite, then it will be valued at USD 9.99 if using the transaction method from Apple. But if you buy directly from Epic Games, the game is enough to pay USD 7.99.
