PUBG Mobile 90 fps Coming Soon on Android

Tencent announced that PUBG Mobile's battle royale game can be played in 90fps mode on Android phones. It's just that currently it's only available on the OnePlus line of phones.

Gameplay with high refresh rates can be enjoyed on the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus8 Pro. The range of cellphones comes with a 90Hz screen.

Now if you have one of them and play PUBG Mobile, to try it, just open Settings followed by Graphics. There will be a 90fps option in the frame rate option.

"This partnership focuses on high refresh rates in gaming. You can be the first in the world to experience 90fps gameplay on PUBG Mobile," said a OnePlus spokesperson.

With a 90 fps advantage it is clear when panning, using scope, running, and looking for other players from a distance. "PUBG Mobile players everywhere can now enjoy gaming at a level of fast and smooth gameplay only available from OnePlus devices," they said.

Not using a OnePlus phone? Relax, you just have to be patient a little because this exclusive status is only for one month. Tencent says starting September 7 all Android phones can play PUBG Mobile at 90fps. Provided that the device's screen supports 90fps.

It is known that Tencent has actually presented 90fps mode to PUBG Mobile for a long time. It's just limited to China, where the game is called Game for Peace.

OnePlus itself previously announced a partnership with Epic Games in May. The collaboration allowed the 8 series phones to run Fortnite at 90fps.

It's just that when enabling a higher frame rate it will lower the default graphics settings to low.
