Tales of Arise Gets Anime Adaptation, Developed by Studio Ufotable

Even though it's been quite successful in stealing the hearts of JRPG fans in 2021, Tales of Arise seems to still want to spread its wings for some time to come. Because recently the latest Tales series from Bandai Namco Entertainment is reported to be getting an anime adaptation.

Yusuke Tomizawa, producer of Tales of Arise, stated that they are working on a new animation that will "make players revisit the game." However, the animation itself is known not to be full-length like anime in general; may be a film or present in only a few episodes.


This anime adaptation is being worked on by studio Ufotable, which previously worked on the visual opening for Tales of Arise. Ufotable itself is certainly already known as one of the studios that presents anime visuals that are so stunning, through anime such as several series Fate and Kimetsu no Yaiba aka Demon Slayer.


It's not clear when the Tales of Arise anime will air, but a report from Famitsu himself describes that the anime itself is "coming soon", so fans can expect the anime to come in the next few months.
