Resident Evil Village Will Appear at TGS 2020 Online

The word "Village" is the word Capcom chose to describe the next Resident Evil series. As predicted, this name was chosen solely for two reasons: first, because it contains letters that can be blended into "VIII" which is actually the main number that should represent the continuation of the story of this survival horror game. Second? Because the main setting shows a village like the Resident Evil 4 series. Having shown the first teaser that still leaves a lot of question marks, Capcom is finally ready to share more information regarding the next-gen series this month too!

The TGS 2020 event is no longer physically held due to the ongoing COVID-19 problem. But the move to the online format so far, with the support of enthusiastic local publishers, makes the end of September 2020 seem ready to offer many surprises. Capcom itself ensures that they will use this event to showcase more Resident Evil Village in a variety of different live-streaming sessions. Unfortunately, however, they did not share as many details about the new information as we could have anticipated.

Resident Evil Village itself is planned to be released in 2021, still without a definite release date, for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and of course - PC. How about you? What do you expect from this RE Village session at TGS 2020 Online?
