PC players discover how to reset the Resident Evil Village demo
Ahead of its release, Resident Evil Village finally got a demo on PC and Xbox after previously being released on PlayStation only. However, because it is only limited to one hour even though the duration is added, some players try to tweak it. One of them is PC gamers.
The Resident Evil Village demo which only lasts for one hour will allow players to play two main stages: Castle and Village. However, due to the time limit set by Capcom, many players were disappointed with the decision.
The PC player was finally looking for a way to tweak some of its files which was eventually found by a Steam user who managed to reset the time.
Players only need a tool called Steam SAM (Steam Achievement Manager), turn off Steam cloud, delete offline save data, and run SAM to reset the achievement.
Resident Evil Village is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Stadia.
